Logo of the Joint Research Project (JRP) no. 14 of the 2014 “Industry” (IND) call of the European Metrology Programme for Research and Innovation (EMPIR). The JRP 14IND14 is entitled: “Torque measurement in the MN m range”. The project started on 1 September 2015 and – with a duration of 36 months – ended 31 August 2018.
The logo is a schematic representation of a wind turbine rotor that transduces wind energy into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy produced is torque and rotational speed, which is depicted by a circular double arrow and the torque unit MN m (mega newton metre). The logo is part of the good practice guide “Traceable Torque Measurement under Rotation in Nacelle Test Benches” The zip file contains the logo in form of a vector graphic (.eps) and portable network graphics (.png) with resolutions of 150 px, 500 px and 1500 px. |
