TUBITAK UME and SASO-NMCC have signed the project named "STAGE D-3 Development Consultancy Service Program for SASO-NMCC" in 2014. one part of the SASO development project was to make 5m-Bench system operational again in a feasible way for the purpose of providing services related to steel tape and ruler calibrations.
