Headphone sensitivity levels and ETSPL values were determined for Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones and an ear simulator according to IEC 60318-1

method: Six Sony WH-1000XM4 earphones were subsequently placed on the IEC 60318-1 ear simulator. Each earphone was placed horizontally and concentrically on the plate with its application force resulting from an ear-phone distance of 145 mm. The earphones were switched off and connected by stereo audio jacks.
