Zusammenfassung: This dataset is generated from two composite infrared absorption cross section spectra of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) in air at the temperature 296.05(2) and the total pressures 225.53(39) and 745.66(80) Torr in the range of 570–1780 cm-1. Every spectrum was split into 8 regions, containing an isolated absorption feature. This makes 16 *.dat files altogether.
Anderes: This work was done within the project “Metrology for climate relevant volatile organic compounds”, MetClimVOC. The project has received funding from EMPIR programme co-financed by the Participating States and from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and motivation programme.
Bemerkung: description of the individual files: Each file contains three columns: 1. Wavenumber of the incoming radiation (in cm-1); 2. Absorption cross section (in cm^2/molecule); 3. Expanded uncertainty (in cm^2/molecule).
method: FTIR
format: .dat
recommended software: any text editor (e.g., Notepad), MS Excel, Origin (proprietary)
parameters: containing in the filename in the following format: SF6_[temperature in K]_[total pressure in Torr]_air_[wavenumber interval in cm-1]_[nominal resolution in cm-1].dat
