| Abstract: | This research aims to investigate if plastic particles can spread through the air. The focus was on tire abrasion particles. The particles were collected at three separate locations at different distances from a road for five months and analysed by light microscopy. The conclusion is that tire abrasion particles spread through the air and that the weather influences the dispersion of the particles. |
