Files labeled "411_scan_935_*.txt" contain data for the spectroscopic interrogation of a single Yb+ ion using light at 411nm to excite the quadrupole transition while having the 935nm laser on/off. Within the measurements the frequency of the excitation beam was scanned using a double pass acouto optical modulator (AOM).

The columns of the files show the UTC time in seconds, the time passed since the start of the experiment in seconds, the frequency of the tuning AOM in MHz, the probability of detecting a non-excited ion in a given region of interest of the camera image within the valid experiments, the number of valid experiments, The control voltage in V for the 411nm photodiode to check if the laser is stabilized and locked, the state of the 935nm shutter for it being on/off.

The data in this folder was used to determine the AC-Stark effect of the 935nm laser of the 411nm quadrupole transition. In each file the same parameters are used and repeated to get the average AC-Stark shift induced by the 935nm laser.

The state of the shutter being "0" is when 935nm laser is on during 411nm state excitation.
