Files labeled "467_scan_*.txt" contain data for the spectroscopic interrogation of a single Yb+ ion using light at 467nm to excite the octupole transition. Within the measurements the frequency of the excitation beam was scanned using a double pass acouto optical modulator.

The columns of the files show the UTC time in seconds, the time passed since the start of the experiment in seconds, the frequency of the tuning AOM in MHz, the probability of detecting a non-excited ion in a given region of interest of the camera image, the number of valid experiments. The last columns are irrelevant for the measurements.

The data in this folder was used to determine the minimum achievable linewidth of the 467nm octupole transition in our experiment (Fig. 3 of the manuscript). In each file a different beam power and thus a different Pi-time was used, leading to different broadenings of the spectra.
