Files labeled "*.txt" contain data from the frequency comb measurement for the 822nm laser. In the measurement two interferometers are setup and only if both beat values agree with each other then the data is valid.

The columns of the files show the date, the time when the value is taken, True/False for if the two values agree with each other, the 822nm laser frequency after correction with the beat signal.

Files labeled "411_scan_*.txt" contain data for the 411nm frequency scan measurement to determine the center frequency. In the measurement the frequency of the laser is scanned via a double-passed acousto optical modulator (AOM).

The columns of the files show the UTC time in seconds, the time passed since the start of the experiment in seconds, the frequency of the tuning AOM in MHz, the probability of detecting a non-excited ion in a given region of interest of the camera image within the valid experiments, the number of valid experiments. The last columns are irrelevant for the measurements.

File "MHzservo.csv" contain data of the servo drift error. The columns of the file show the name of the file for the relevant measurement, the servo drift error in MHz, the uncertainty of the drift error in MHz.

The data in this folder was used to determine the absolute frequency of the 411nm electric quadrupole transition in 172 Yb+. Each file is the measured 822nm laser frequency when the experiment to determine the center frequency of the transition is proceeded. The [S,-1/2] --> [D,+3/2] and [S,-1/2] --> [D,-5/2] are to determine the stability of the magnetic field, [S,-1/2] --> [D,-5/2] and [S,+1/2] --> [D,+5/2] are to average out the first-order Zeeman shift to get the center frequency.
