Investigations of an 2f/3f detection scheme for phase detection. The laser frequency of the light source is sinusoidally modulated, and the interferometric phase derived from the harmonic signals. In this article we discuss measurement scheme, approach-included challenges and present first verification experiments over a range of 20m.
